Gotta Love The Mail (Well Sometimes)
Sometimes these days it's good when the mail comes!!! Today we received fresh off the presses at AKC the certificate of Championship for our boy Spencer! You enver really believe they're finished until you have that in your hot little hands I guess. We're always nervous something will happen or we counted wrong or something like that but here it was bright and early this morning. Pretty exciting. We also finally got this terms issue of Afghan Hound Review. That's always fun to have but this issue is especially so as we put a one page add in for Andorra and Samuel. Both pics are of them earlier this summer as the adds have to be in pretty early and it comes out only every two months so they have obviously grown and changed since then. But, it was neat to see them there on such a big publication alongside all the other wonderful hounds. We're hoping to do another add early next year. Were hoping to this December but finances don't allow unfortunately. We want to post our pride at our finished boy and do another intro for Samuel. He has grown and changed so much in the last few months. Getting to be such a big boy now.
So it was a pretty good day today, dog wise. Mail was good to us today.

Busy Times Ahead
Well I said earlier that we were taking some time off well the hubby and myself decided perhaps it's time for a change. Not only are we spending some time and money on our house but at the end of it all we plan on putting this house up for sale and finally getting the chance to perhaps build our own home. Brand spankin new and all our designs. We've always wanted a log home so that's what we're looking towards. probably staying around this area and finding some nice land that will get us and the pooches away from neighbors. Am very excited about the prospect although we will miss showing for a while but we plan on making it to the Nutmeg/AHALI specialties and the Breeders Cup in Virginia (Very excited about this as we love the state.) And not to forget the Northern New Jersey Specialtiy and Bucks and Trenton all breed shows and Supported Entry. So we'll be out and about but just sticking to afghan events. So stay tuned for further events as they occur and wish us luck in our exciting endeavor.
