WHAT A WEEKEND

WOW when you have one of those kind of weekends it just stays with you long after everything is done. We had one of those this past weekend at the Bainbridge, NY shows. Danielle, Kieran's littersister took WB all 3 days for her first 3 points and BOB two of the 3 days. How wonderful for her and Lee and Betty Diesem her owner/breeders. We aodre Danielle! And not to be overshadowed her beautiful Irish bitch Savannah, took WB (handled not by us unfortunately, ring conflicts) but by a young handler that had shown her before and to whom we are eternally grateful for being there at the right place and the right time, for another single. AND..... the best news of all I think is how our young and lovely Samuel did. He took reserve on Friday and then Saturday his owner/handler Kristen took him to WD and then while she stayed on Andorrah, the specials, I took Samuel back in and took BOB over specials for another major. Was I a basket case? YOU BET!!! I was thrilled and excited and so happy being able to do that for my daughter. WELL......is there more you ask, there certainly is!!! On Sunday we had a repeat of Saturday. Kristen took him to WD for another major and then I went in on him and she took Dora in and again we were awarded BOB over specials and Dora took the BOS behind him (over other specials bitches). SO right now Samuel only needs one single to finish him. He has 4 majors to his name and a single point. We are off this Friday to the Finger Lakes Afghan Hound Specialty and are really looking forward to being there and maybe, just maybe he will finish there. Cross your fingers and toes.
