Up Coming Shows

Well time to let everyone in on some of the shows we have scheduled for the month of May. Let's see, we have next weekend, the 8th I believe, one day of a two day circuit in Connecticut. We are only doing one day for financial reasons (has anyone taken a gander at the price of gas these days) and just for practice for the little gordon monster. We do have Samuel entered but have decided to finish him solely on majors and it didn't pull one, so he gets to stay home. Will be fun to get back out into the gordon ring and play around with the little heathen. After that then we are off to two of the 3 days in Long Island, at the arboretum and museum. Am very much looking forward to those shows. It's supported entries Friday and Saturday for afghan hounds so we have hopes of doing something with Sammy. We also entered Dustin on Saturday in sweeps and regular classes, just for giggles. Time to get the little guy out and about. So that's how things shape up around here. Still waiting for some Canadian shows in a couple of week, hoping Dora wins and she can come home. She is missed so terribly around here. Will report back as to how things have gone at these two shows and let everyone knows whats coming next. Till next time.

We had a puppy match on Sunday
Well yesterday, despite the nasty weather, we went to a puppy match with a few of the kids for practice. Kieran, his sister Danielle and Dustin. And to make it all really fun we met Mary Morris there with Dustin's brother's and sister, Debbie Domino, Casper and Jungles. What a clan they made and they had a pretty neat time. Dustin always loves it when he gets to go to a new place and see some new dogs. He did really excellent in the match and got a second place. I handled Casper and for a pup who has never really met me and whom I've never handled I think he did wonderful. We went first in our class. Then we went back in with Mary and Debbie Domino (what a major cutie-pie she is) and Debbie domino took the breed. She is such a prancy cute little thing who wouldn't love her!!!

Kieran was the comsumate showman of course and did wonderful beating his sister for BOB. Danielle did pretty good and well by the end I think she was stressed out a little but she did very well considering it was her first time. It was a very small match and didn't last long so that was actually sort of a good thing for the little guys. We had lots of fun.

We have Kieran and Samuel entered in one day in Connecticut. Mostly for practice for Kieran and looking for a major for Samuel. We are hoping to finish him entirely on majors. A big accomplishment for Kristen and for Samuel. Speaks to his quality. So we'll be posting how the kids did that weekend in a couple of weeks. Are very much looking forward to it. Till then.
