Yes folks we finally have puppies. I am so proud and happy to announce our first litter of afghans. We have 5 girls and 4 boys in colors of cream, blue, brindle domino and domino brindle. They are 3 weeks old today, on their feet, eyes and ears all open and just getting cuter by the day. I'll be posting pics weekly as they change and grow. Danaid is growing fast. 6 months old now and looking every bit the teenager. She will make her show debut next spring. Until then we weather the winter.

We've fallen in love with the wonderful breed called the Afghan Hound. Native to Afghanistan, they are an aristocratic animal called the King of Dogs. To their families they are silly, energetic clowns that keep you on your toes and smiles on your faces. Here we have put all the goings on that occur around the homestead where currently we have 6 afghan hounds. Stop around frequently for all of our updates. thanks :o)
