We spent yesterday (Sunday July 23, 2006) at a local Hound Specialty in Chatham, NY. Once again we took the two kids, Camille and Adonis out for some more practice. Adonis has been giving us a hard time lately in the ring so Kristen had been practicing with him more. Well he did improve some. He at least didn't try and drag her out of the ring this time but gaiting is still eluding him and stacking, well he'd rather be running than stacking. But he's young and VERY fuill of energy. Camille did very well in the Bred By class. Well enough to take that class ad when Winner Bitch came she decided she'd had enough of this nonsense and began to act her old bratty self. The weather was a bit chilly for summer but a good day for the dogs. Finny was also entered and while did nothing he again had a wonderful time with his mom and showed well and made his kids very proud of their papa. All in all a fun day. We saw some friends we hadn't seen in over a year which is always a plus regardless of how the ribbons are awarded. Our next show for the kids will be the nationals in PA in September.
