Way Behind On News
Well I'm sorry I've been so lax in keeping this updated. So here is what's been happening since last summer.
Our next show after the Bainbridge Circuit wasn't until November and the Syracuse circuit. Finnigan, happily, finished his Ch. at those shows so now he's staying home for a few years to mature. We spent the rest of the winter at home praying for puppies. Well it wasn't to be. We bred our Finny to our Andorrah and nothing transpired. We're going to try again this May/June so stay tuned for that. We just got back from two days in Buffalo, NY where India picked another single and now stands at just two singles to finish her Am. Ch. Then she is off to Canada with her breeder/co-owner Viv and Pete Machen where she will be shown there to her Cdn. Ch. Then, with any luck, it's off to the whelping box for her. Stay tuned in to the Nursery site for news of breedings this year. There is even talk of Samuel being a daddy this year.
And how could I forget the very exciting other happenings at Buffalo. Samuel is out now being campaigned as a specials. This was his second weekend out and he again took BOB both days and Saturday blessed us with a Group II!!!!! He looked gorgeous and I think the judge agreed :>) Not a bad start. I think it's time the judges see a patterned afghan hound out there in the ranks of the specials.
One more bit of news. Finally, this year Kieran will be coming out. We've been waiting for him to mature and grow some coat before we began seriously showing him. So if you're around the gordon ring in the NY/New England area then watch for him.
Well that's about all for now.
