Oh and some more happy news

OH boy how could I forget to annouce the happy news that Andorrah's littersister Miriah is now Ch. Miriah obtaining her last major this past weekend. What a great weekend the two sisters had. I don't have all the details but am hoping to get them and will post them here as soon as I do. Congrats Miriah from us and your sister Dora!!!!

Back From Canada

Well we made back from Canada and boy did we have a great time, that is once we got across the border. Things have really tightened up getting to and from Canada. I had forgotten my ID so naturally we were stopped and of course searched. I admit to being more than a little scared and was quite relieved when they let us pass. They were pretty good about it except for the booth lady at the border lecturing me a bit. Guess I can't blame them. Anyway, the weather was wonderful if not perhaps a little to warm but then I hope summer is on it's way. We had hoped to finish Samuel in one weekend up there but unfortunately it didn't turn out that way. His brother, the big hairy beast LOL took WD 3 out of the 4 days but Samuel did get WD and BOW at the Hound Specialty for his first 4 Canadian points. Andorrah was entered as a specials her first weekend out as a specials. She did WONDERFUL and made us so proud. She went undefeated the entire weekend goin BOB over the top winning afghan hound out right now and then an amazing Group II over some of the top ranked hounds in Canada. We were ecstatic to say the least. Everyone thought Samuel and Andorrah were lovely dogs and we met so many nice people. Dora went BOS the other two days. She looks just beautiful and we are soo happy to finally have her home. She is quite happy as well I can tell you. Right back into her old habits and haunts immediately. So, she will start her specials career down here in the states for a while. She enjoys the whole show thing and loves the attention and loves going bye-bye with us. Should be lots of fun.
Next we're off to the Bainbridge Circuit in Western, NY for I believe 4 days. We're hoping to camp out there. We camped out in the van in Canada and had a wonderful time, even without showers LOL. That's nopt until the end of the month so will report back after then. Wish us luck.
