Life Goes On Around Here

Not much to report by way of shows these days. What with life and college and injuries for our eldest son, we haven't done many shows and those that we have have not been monumental by way of anything to report. Life usually slows down for us around here with winter approaching. We have two days at the Syracuse Circuit coming in November and then 4 days at Thanksgiving in W. Springfield, Mass coming and then after perhaps a weekend in Boston and then we settle in for a cold winter. We do still have plans of breeding our Andorrah next late winter/early spring on her next season (stud to be announced) and are excited over that prospect. The list of prospective homes is piling up so if you'd like to email us about reserving a potential pup then pop over to the nursery site and fill out our form and we'll get back to you.
We've been participating in being a foster home for the ACES Program (Another Chance For English Setters) as we have gordons and are not used often enough as a foster home for Tartan Rescue and felt ACES was in need of help. We recently have been fostering an angelic little english girl named Molly and she lost her battle to cancer last night (October 23, 2002) and was let go from this world. We adored her like no one else could and I'm still at the stage where I cry when I think of her for even a second. I miss her little face around here. But life beats along and there will be others in and out of here who need us for a short time until they journey to their new homes and lives but little Molly earned herself a place in our hearts forever. My husband Ron adored her so that when she crossed over he took her ACES tag and put it on his keychain to have a constant reminder of this little girl. We love you little Molly.
So, that's about it for now. Will report back on how those shows coming up go. Take care of each other. :o)
