New Family Member
I am here to announce we have a new family member to add to our home. In our disappointment over Hilary not conceiving, we learned that a neice of hers was available. After seeing some pictures of her and the knowledge of her pedigree, I am happy to say we chose to make her part of our afghan family. Her name is India, she is approx. 19 months old and settling in pretty well. She is a beautiful silver blue, has a lovely body and very pretty head and eye and a VERY sweet temperament. She seems to prefer people to dogs right at the moment and is pretty impatient with our clan right now. Hopefully, in time, she will learn the love them. They'd love to be able to play with her. We will be entering her at the Syracuse, NY Cluster the end of March. Wish us luck. Oh, and how dare I forget to announce our young man, Finnigan, was WD both days at the Buffalo, NY shows last weekend for her very first two points. We're so proud of this young man. He's just a gorgeous young dog and we have such high expectations for him. He continues to grow into a strong looking dog with a silly, sweet temperament. Watch for more news of these two new kids. Till then.

We've fallen in love with the wonderful breed called the Afghan Hound. Native to Afghanistan, they are an aristocratic animal called the King of Dogs. To their families they are silly, energetic clowns that keep you on your toes and smiles on your faces. Here we have put all the goings on that occur around the homestead where currently we have 6 afghan hounds. Stop around frequently for all of our updates. thanks :o)
